When we first met, Kathi was teaching a large group of women and was ready for a brake…..I felt so privileged to step into her BIG shoes. Very Talented…. as I’m sure your able to see from the card she made with the Faux Rusted Metal Technique.
Kathi’s instructions……Knowing you’d want SU products, and I didn’t have anything to punch, I free handed a flower pot. I think it came out great for a first try. I didn’t have any Pool Party embossing powder, so I used some Antiquities Verdigris that I had and I love the effect. I tried to get a side view to show how the pot actually bellows out a bit.SU products used: Paper: Soft Suede, So Saffron, Marina Mist, Sweater Weather DSP.
Misc: Linen Thread, Soft Suede Ink, Ribbon and Candy Dots, Doily, Flower Punch. The dark green sprigs and button are not SU products.
I agree with Kathi, this turned out so nice ! It looks real to me.
She’s a master of mixing elements !
One more to go, it’s my turn to give this a try…..
I feel a little intimidated Tina and Kathi have made such beautiful cards,
Have any of you tried this???? If you have would you like to send me a picture, I’d love to see your work!
