o Don’t rock the stamp when you press it down on your paper, press firmly buy don’t rock it.
o Before you stamp but after you have inked the stamp turn it over and look at it, if you see ink on the edge of the rubber, wipe it off with a small piece of paper towel. Put the paper towel around one finger and gently go around the edge of the rubber being careful not to touch the image. This is what I do all the time,” I’m a heavy handed stamper” so to avoid a edge, I’m willing to take a few seconds and wipe off the excess ink that I get around my image.
You can always make what is called a “creative adjustment” and add a ribbon or an embellishment over the top of the mark.
